3W's Walk of Fame

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The 3W’s Walk of Fame located at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies and named in honour of the “3 W’s” Sir Frank Worrell, Sir Clyde Walcott and Sir Everton Weekes is a monument built to celebrate and record the feats of excellence by members of the West Indies Cricket Team over the decades.

The monument recognises the impact of Sir Frank Worrell on the development of West Indies Cricket in particular and West Indian society in general during the first and second quarter of the twentieth century. It recognises further Sir Frank’s love for and enjoyment of the game of cricket and symbolically defines that path and that portal through which he daily makes an entrance onto his square and a proud University Campus beyond.
